ArcIMS Monitor is an application that runs as a background process to monitor the status of the ArcIMS Spatial Server. This includes starting, stopping and keeping alive the ArcIMS Spatial Server.

The main configuration file for the monitor is the monitor.properties file located under: <ArcGIS Installation Directory>\ArcIMS\Server\Monitor

Other configuration files related to the Monitor process include: Monitor_Res.properties and Monitor_Res_(xx)_(XX).properties

If logging is enabled for the monitor, a log file named MonitorDebug_XXXXXXXXX.log is written to the log directory under the Monitor directory.
