ArcIMS Taskser is an applicaiton that runs as a Windows Service or Unix Daemon. ArcIMS Tasker is an application that is used to delete temporary files that are created in the ArcIMS Output directory. When map requests are made to ArcIMS, the ArcIMS Spatial Server creates output images that are written to the ArcIMS Output directory. At periodic intervals, the ArcIMS Tasker deletes these images.
