A leading Russian company providing GIS software development, engineering, and consulting services. The company is a unique blend of strong academic background and high industrial development standards. Data East grew from the Novosibirsk Regional Center of Geoinformation Technologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and since then has gained extensive experience while working on the most advanced projects for ESRI and other industry leaders. Since 2001, Data East is a regional subdistributor of ESRI software products representing ESRI interests in Siberia and the Russian Far East.

The majority of Data East employees have been working together since 90-s, the time when Novosibirsk Regional Center of Geoinformation Technologies was found. Today the permanent Data East team consists of more than 80 qualified software developers, GIS-experts, and high skilled management. More than 50% of Data East employees have Master Degrees or Doctor of Philosophy Degrees, besides there are Candidates of Science, Doctors of Physics and Mathematics.
