[edit] About

Well Tracking (developed by Data East) is an ArcGIS-based corporate level solution for managing large volumes of spatial data obtained from drilling operations.

[edit] Features

Effective management of corporate drilling data is provided by means of multi-source data input, including batch loading of the table data to geodatabases. The data is further processed and stored in a unified database. Along with visualizing spatial data Well Tracking provides a number of tools and features to solve different tasks in mine surveying. Well Tracking allows projecting such survey features as wells, well rows, pads, formations, fields, and license areas. The spatial survey data can also include the inclinometer and gyroscope measurements that can be processed and edited according to the assigned tasks. Administration options allow for managing user privileges to work with different Well Tracking tool groups.

The output survey data is provided in the form of different reports based on the templates made with the Crystal Reports software. The extension uses data in ArcGIS formats, which are personal geodatabase feature classes, SDE database layers and text data in .txt, .lst, .inc, .las and .csv formats.
